HOW TO APPLY FOR A GRANT
The Request for Application and Grant Application Forms are available below. Applications need to be delivered to the Komen office no later than December 1, 2008. The Komen Colorado Springs office is located at 625 N. Cascade Suite 200. Office hours are 11-3 weekdays.
Eligibility For Funding
Any not-for-profit organization that provides breast health/breast cancer education, screening, treatment support services that is located within our 3-county area may respond to the Request for Application (RFA) currently available online. Grant funding is limited to one year and is not guaranteed from year to year. Funds must be tracked and accounted for with unused money returned at the completion of the grant contract. Note that funding of a specific organization's project does not reflect an endorsement of that organization, its overall mission, or any of the other services that it provides.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and its Affiliates are not direct-service providers. We do not directly refer individuals for screening or treatment. We do not determine individual eligibility for referrals, or influence the screening and/or treatment decisions of the organizations we fund.
