RUNNING AWARDS
In order to dedicate even more operations money to the fight against breast cancer, this year, all races will be SELF-TIMED ONLY. A time clock will be clearly visible at the course finish line. No specific runner awards will be tabulated. Instead, all registered Race participants will be eligible for sponsor prizes. To be eligible to win a prize, just turn in your bib tear-off tab at the main stage’s drawing box. Prize winners must be present when winners are announced at the start of the Survivor’s Celebration. Top prize will be one roundtrip airline ticket on American Airlines.
PRIZES FOR DONATIONS
Everyone can raise donations! Donate online at left or download a donation form to mail in or bring on Race morning.
Prizes are not cumulative and are distributed according to total donations raised, not including the Race entry fee. Susan G. Komen Colorado Springs Race for the Cure® reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal value should an item be unavailable. Each individual or team entrant is eligible for donation prizes.
- Highest Donation: One round trip air transportation on American Airlines or American Eagle to any destination in the contiguous United States.
- Second Highest Donation: Weekend Get-Away in Silverthorne, Colorado - 2 night stay.
- Third Highest Donation: $250 Citadel Mall Gift Certificate
- $1000+: $100 Komen Kash
- $500-999: $50 Komen Kash
- $250-499: $25 Komen Kash
- $75-249: $10 Komen Kash
Komen Kash will be redeemable for merchandise at the Race Shop on Race Day.
RACE PROCEEDS
75% of the net proceeds from the Susan G. Komen Colorado Springs Race for the Cure® remains here in the El Paso, Teller, and Pueblo counties to support breast cancer programs and activities. 25% goes toward the Susan G.
