The 2008 Komen Colorado Springs Race for the Cure®
and Pooches in Pink
at Garden of the Gods Park.

It was a beautiful day with over 7,300 participants!
The first survivor over the finish line was Connie McKenzie.
The first supporter over the finish line was Chuck McKenzie.

We raised over $500,000 for breast health programs in our communities!

The first ever Pooches in Pink the night before the Race had over 200 dogs!

All were well mannered and some really dressed up!

RACE PROCEEDS 75% of the net proceeds from the Komen Colorado Springs Race for the Cure® remains here in the El Paso, Teller, and Pueblo counties to support breast cancer programs and activities. 25% goes toward the Susan G.
